Drug Accusations
Multiple people accused Client of drug involvement in exchange for leniency in their own cases. Client was illegally searched by CID and was dragged into a year-long investigation. The Marine Corps brought him to an ADSEP board 7 days before his EAS. Steph brilliantly defended him, showing all the flaws in the Government’s evidence. The board unanimously found NO BASIS and Client was honorably discharged.
Court Martial
Steph represented a Client facing a general court-martial (GCM) for allegations of domestic violence, strangulation, and suffocation. Steph relentlessly defended him through litigation that lasted nearly a year and a half. She pursued every lead, raised every issue, and fought tirelessly on behalf of her Client, which led to all charges being dismissed.
Navy Court Martial
Steph’s Navy enlisted Client was charged at a special court-martial. The Government continuously offered deals that were not favorable to the Client. After Steph filed motions, the Government finally offered the deal the Client wanted. The Client happily separated with a general (under honorable conditions) discharge.
Army Court Martial
Abby’s Client, an Army Sergeant First Class, tested positive on a urinalysis. Asserting his innocence, he turned down his Article 15. The Army took him to court-martial, where Abby aggressively defended him. The Client was found NOT GUILTY after only a few minutes of deliberation.
Air Force Major Command Investigation
Steph helped her Air Force Major Client navigate a command investigation initiated due to complaints from civilian employees. Together, they drafted his responses to the Investigating Officer’s questions and Steph accompanied him to the interview. The commander initiated an LOC, but after reviewing the response with a significant amount of evidence the Investigating Officer had failed to gather, it was withdrawn.
Domestic Violence and Repeated MPO Violations
Client was investigated for domestic violence and repeated MPO violations. Steph successfully got him released from pretrial confinement. After additional evidence was revealed, Steph negotiated an extremely favorable case outcome.
Multiple EO Complaints
Steph’s Commanding Officer Client was the subject of multiple EO complaints alleging toxic leadership. After helping the CO navigate the investigation and respond to the allegations, all charges were dropped and Client finished their command tour.
Insubordinate Conduct and Assault
Abby represented an Army Specialist accused of insubordinate conduct and assault. Throughout the 15-6 and subsequent NJP, Abby expertly guided and counseled the Client. She did her own investigation, discovered new evidence, and drafted a legal memo that caused the commander to withdraw the NJP, unsubstantiate the investigation, and tell the Client he can’t wait to see what the Client does in the Army going forward.
ADSEP Withdrawn
A Navy Petty Officer Third Class was facing ADSEP for Condition Not Amounting to a Disability (CND). Client had faced significant hurdles, but was improving. The command still sought to discharge him just two months shy of his EAOS with an adverse discharge. Steph’s aggressive and persuasively drafted legal memo resulted in the CO withdrawing the ADSEP and allowing the Client to finish out his enlistment.
Mandatory Administrative Separation Avoided
Client was found guilty of wrongfully using THC-9 at NJP before contacting Steph for an appeal. Steph put together a compelling appeal. While the NJP was upheld, the appeal was so effective that the command slow-rolled mandatory administrative separation processing to allow the Client to medically retire due to his PTSD.
Sexual Harassment, Bullying & Hazing Accusations
Five people accused our Navy Chief Client of sexual harassment, bullying, and hazing. The Client’s nearly 14-year career was on the line. Steph pointed out all the flaws in the Government’s evidence and the bias in the investigation. Steph gathered numerous witnesses who showed why the allegations were not credible, and why the Client was a strong leader. The board found NO BASIS for violations of OPNAVINST 5354.1H and retained the Client.
Navy Client Accused
Abby’s Navy Client with 19 years of service was accused of communicating a threat, abusive sexual contact, burglary, and having a civilian conviction for vandalism. Abby developed a solid strategy, admitting a civilian conviction is a basis, but arguing that there was no evidence to support the other allegations. The Board agreed, finding NO BASIS on the major allegations and unanimously recommending retention in spite of the civilian conviction. Client’s retirement saved!
Tested Positive for THC
Client tested positive for THC and asserted innocent ingestion. The command wanted to separate with notification procedures, but Abby’s advocacy caused the Admiral to grant her an ADSEP Board. The board quickly found NO BASIS. Without Abby fighting for a board, she likely would have been discharged the year prior rather than being exonerated and continuing her career.
Positive Drug Test
Client tested positive for amphetamines, which turned out to be Adderall. Steph helped the Client navigate the investigation, DRB, NJP turn down, and Administrative Separation Board process. Steph’s representation at the board was praised by the board members, who unanimously voted NO BASIS in only six minutes of deliberation.
Drug Accusation
Chief Warrant Officer 3 was accused of cocaine use after being unknowingly exposed through her civilian boyfriend. The Government was very aggressively trying to end her 19-year career and take away her retirement. After an extremely hard-fought BOI, the members unanimously found NO BASIS. Steph saved the Client’s career!
Minor Mistake Made
Navy Officer Client made a minor mistake during a very difficult time in her life. The Navy forced her to show cause for retention through notification procedures. After a hard-fought battle, her career was saved and she was retained.
Navy Court Martial
Navy junior enlisted Client was accused of domestic violence by his ex-girlfriend. Steph and Abby’s expertise revealed she was the aggressor and Client was defending himself. Steph was praised for conducting “a masterclass in cross-examination” for the cross-examination of the complainant. Client was found NOT GUILTY of all charges.
Navy Court Martial
Navy Master Chief accused of hazing and bullying had special court-martial charges dropped after Steph revealed unrecoverable flaws in the prosecution’s case. Client was saved from a conviction.

Navy Senior Chief Client was accused of sexually assaulting a fellow Chief in a special court-martial. Steph’s passionate and aggressive defense prevented Client from being convicted of a life-altering sex offense.
Air Force Court Martial
Abby’s Client was an Air Force Senior Master Sergeant who was offered an Article 15 nonjudicial punishment for abusive sexual contact. He turned it down and was taken to a general court-martial. He was fully acquitted of the charges.
Accused of Sexual Offenses
Navy Client was accused of multiple sexual offenses and was at a loss at how to handle the actions from NCIS and his command. Steph’s representation and guidance led to all allegations being dropped and the Client separating with an Honorable discharge.
Accused of Larceny
Marine Corps LCpl was investigated for larceny of government property based on ammo and explosives found in a car he had sold prior to deployment. Steph’s guidance throughout the investigation and communication with the CID agent resulted in case being dropped and Client reaching his EAS.
Air Force Court Martial
Air Force Staff Sergeant faced multiple specifications of rape at a general court-martial. The Government had DNA evidence, a SANE exam, and surveillance video evidence. None of that could overcome Abby’s relentless case preparation and talent in the courtroom. Her client was fully acquitted of all charges.
Accused of Sexual Offenses
LCDR Client accused of sexual offenses retained Steph to represent him. After very strategically navigating the situation, no adverse action was brought against the Client, and he continued his Navy career.
Air Force Court Martial
Air Force Client was coerced by AFOSI to say he knew the complaining witness could not consent. Steph’s trial litigation and skills revealed her blatant lies and the lack of real investigating by AFOSI. Client found NOT GUILTY at a general court-martial.
